What does it mean to work with an evidence-based approach?
Evidence-based medicine means medical decisions stem from rigorous research rather than trends or individual preferences. Through my work with systematic reviews and meta-analyses via the Cochrane Collaboration, we strive to ensure every patient receives a treatment supported by strong, reliable data. When evidence is limited, treatments are offered selectively with transparency about those constraints.
How do you balance scientific rigor with personalized care?
Science establishes the “what” and “how,” but it cannot replace human connection. I prioritize listening to patients’ stories, values, and concerns while explaining options clearly.
