Thinking About Freezing Your Eggs?

An increasing number of women are choosing to preserve their eggs — a proactive decision that deserves careful consideration based on solid information.

What is egg freezing?

Egg freezing — or oocyte cryopreservation — is a safe and effective technique that allows women to preserve eggs when they are most likely to be genetically normal for future use.

Egg quality declines over time. As we age, the proportion of abnormal eggs increases, leading to lower implantation chances, higher miscarriage risk, and increased likelihood of chromosomal abnormalities.

Can it be done at any age?

While technically possible at any age, the optimal window is between 25 and 35 years old. Freezing between 35 and 40 can still be a great decision — egg quality declines more rapidly with age, but it’s not too late. After 40, success rates drop significantly, though we recommend consulting before dismissing the option.

Is egg freezing the same at every clinic?

No. There are important differences between clinics — in both success rates and the overall patient experience. We prefer to provide pricing after an initial consultation, once we understand your medical history. Quotes without context can be misleading.

What makes our approach different?

We focus on four things:

  • A high-complexity laboratory with state-of-the-art vitrification technology
  • Experienced embryologists specialized in oocyte freezing
  • Premium materials and protocols
  • Personalized care directly from Dr. Glujovsky — not rotating teams

Dr. Glujovsky conducts initial consultations, follow-ups, and egg retrieval procedures personally, and remains available via email and WhatsApp throughout treatment.

How do I get started?

The first step is scheduling a consultation — available by video call for patients outside Buenos Aires. We will assess your ovarian reserve and medical history, explain the process step by step, and build a personalized treatment plan.

Oocyte vitrification is a powerful tool that gives you more freedom to plan your life on your own terms.

Choosing the right clinic is as important as the decision itself. We are here to help you think it through.
